GunZ 2
By : RIFQIGUNZ2
The official sequel to GunZ: The Duel features all the unique action
and gameplay from the original title, but adds even more tactical
variety and improved technology to the mix. In this game, you will
become a living weapon!
This free-to-play online game will broaden your understanding of what a first-person shooter is truly capable of. GunZ 2: The Second Duel
is the official sequel to GunZ: The Duel which was first released in
2004. The action FPS picks up where the original title left off. It
features all the original and unique qualities of the GunZ-franchise and
successfully modernises them with more up-to-date technology and
gameplay. The MMOFPS provides real-time physics effects, better
responses, and a much greater variety of action moves and available
weapons, each unique in their own respect.
In GunZ 2: The Second Duel, you will experience a first-person shooter unlike any you have ever played before. This online game does not only rely on your shooting skills to defeat enemies, but also on your abilities to successfully move through your environment. A wall is not just a place to hide behind in order to demonstrate your sniping skills, but it is rather an opportunity for you to surprise your opponents. With your character’s numerous action moves, you can climb up walls to attack your enemies from above. These moves guarantee for a much more dynamic gameplay experience.

The online multiplayer game is a direct sequel to GunZ: The Duel—a game I feel old talking about having played through it nearly a decade ago—and has players running around large set-piece battle arenas trying to slice and dice other players into itty bitty pieces. Or, if they refuse to stand still, shooting them into itty bitty pieces. It’s our in the U.S. on Steam Early Access after mucking around in South Korea for the last few years in beta.
There are three classes available at launch: the Silent Avenger, Gun Slinger and Shield Trooper, with more to be added as developers add on to the game, alongside some 200 different weapons of both the gun and sword variety split into 13 categories. That’s… quite impressive actually. There’s even a campaign mode against AI Bots

GHOST RECON ONLINE (THIRD PERSON SHOOT)
By : RIFQIGHOST RECON ONLINE
Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Online (GRO) is
a free to play 3D third-person, cover-based tactical shooter (MMOTPS)
developed by Ubisoft Singapore, and offers all the best qualities of the
Ghost Recon franchise in a downloadable, dynamic, PC-based online game. Ghost Recon Online offers players the
ability to choose between three different classes of Ghost: Assault,
Recon and Specialist. Each three dynamic character classes offer a broad array of tactical options
on the battlefield. It's great that you can eventually deck out any
class with the full range of guns and armament goodies you unlock from
playing and amassing points for buying gear, but it's their special
abilities that really make classes stand out. Far from a generic
run-and-gunner, the assault class is perfect for pushing the front line
into enemy territory. The blitz shield lets you charge forward at high
speeds right into incoming fire, bludgeon enemies into a prone position,
and then take them out with a few quick shots before they even know
what happened. Or you can nuke foes with area-of-effect microwaves that
blind them and cook them with radiation damag. Meanwhile, specialists can trigger EMP devices to short-circuit enemy
tech or engage a limited portable force field bubble that affects bullet
trajectories. Recon sniper units are favorites for their cloaking
ability and a radar-like ping device that reveals enemy positions and
invisible units to all teammates. Each unit's special perks are useful
in countering another class's abilities too, which makes balancing your
team important. Putting all of these skills into play on the battlefield
at once is deliciously chaotic, and it keeps matches fluid and
engaging.
And that’s one of GRO’s biggest problems. There’s technically nothing
wrong with the design of all three class’ abilities as they are, and
when you find a fairly balanced match, each class has plenty of chances
to counter and complement the others’ abilities. Snipers clear the way
for Assault soldiers, Assault soldiers charge in to clear the path
forward, and Specialists provide protection and utility. But finding a
truly balanced match is a rarity with GRO’s current matchmaking design,
even with the option to change classes before a match begins. That’s
because there aren’t any limits on how many of a certain class are in an
arena, which means that it’s not uncommon to find yourself facing
almost an entire team of Recon snipers. In one match, almost comically, I
faced a group with six Assault players with our seven Recon, and the
match quickly turned into a tragic buffalo hunt in which we picked off
the Assault soldiers with few worries about our own safety. Spawn
camping is thus a problem, even if it’s often situational, and the lack
of any ability to change classes mid-game only exacerbates the problem.
To Ubisoft’s credit, that’s still not as hopeless of a situation as it
might seem, though, thanks to lengthy cooldown timers for special
abilities that persist through death and prevent the matches from
devolving into unmanageable chaos.
Besides that the interface, the menus, and the whole lobby system itself
is beautifully done but in a shooter it all really comes down to how
crisp and balanced the gameplay itself is. GRO forces you to take things
slowly. Patience is a virtue, and luckily you’ll have built up plenty
of it waiting out the queue. Run and gun gamers who think they can be
godlike running wildly through the streets will be dropped in a hot
flash and typically give away the rest of their team’s position in the
process. Ghost Recon Online follow suite with its Buy to Play
counterparts, encouraging sneaking, camping, and teamwork. Currently the
most played game mode is conquest. Just like in any other game with the
game mode conquest, you will have several capture points on the map to
battle over with your allies. But remember, the game is played at a slow
pace and thus capturing these points isn’t as easy as charging in and
standing around in the open waiting on a timer. Since a lot of people
camp, often lying in wait at a capture point for ten plus minutes, you
will have to scout areas and force enemies out before having a chance to
capture them. With the use of class skills like cloak or weapon jams
you can try to force your enemy to fall back. Brute force doesn’t work
well without the powerful class skills supporting them.
Ghost Recon Online is a lot of fun. I myself enjoyed playing it but
there are enough hindrances for new players that I didn’t often feel
encouraged to queue up for multiple matches in a row. Since the game
isn’t that popular, new players should go in with the mindset that
they’re going to get crushed quite a few times while slowly building up
their character to hang with the veterans. Once you have bit the bullet
and climbed the learning curve, with days of battle hardening matches
under your belt, you will start to find yourself actually impacting the
outcome of matches. This felt tedious at times as I rarely got to
experience match modes outside of conquest. A shooter needs fast queue
quick matches like Team Deathmatch to draw in a decent population by
capturing the casual crowd. Perhaps I ask too much out of a Ghost Recon
game, especially since the game supports camping with its many different
stances and weapon possibilities, but sometimes the game was just too
slow overall.

WORLD OF SPEED (SPORT RACING)
By : RIFQIWORLD OF SPEED
Slightly Mad Studios & My.com are proud to announce World of Speed – a free-to-compete AAA massively multiplayer online action-racing game which introduces a new level of connected competition to the racing genre.
World of Speed centers around team-based play to encourage cooperation. Race clubs fight for control of an in-game location against other clubs. The idea is to own a given track. If this is accomplished, every racer that races on that track will see your club name and logo. Owning that location unlocks a clubhouse, a fully 3D social area for members to hang out. They'll also be able to earn club-only game modes. One, called Territory Wars, has clubs going beyond their first owned location, working to recruit and organize other players to take more locations to achieve world domination
But, if you're not good at racing but you know you’re friend is then you can play a support role, which is the equivalent of something like the medic in Team Fortress. “You can support your guy and contribute to your team maybe by being a blocker and stopping other people overtaking or as a damage dealer looking to take out competitors
Like an MMO from any other genre, Slightly Mad plans to update World of Speed often. New tracks and cars will regularly come down the line, as will new gameplay modes. A quick tease during a presentation listed what looked to be dozens of these upcoming modes. My eye caught several: Cat and Mouse, Freeway Pursuit, Destruction Derby, Movie Cars, Dirt and Dune, Emergency Response, and more. From the names alone these all sound like a lot of fun.
World of Speed looks set to offer an unintimidating entry point into the world of free-to-play MMO racing. However, its best ideas and most interesting concepts currently exist in theory rather than in a hands-on build. We’ll have to wait until later this year to find out whether the depth suggested by the XP, challenge and role-play systems materialises in practice and whether the microtransactions and social features that will form its lifeblood will be as accessible as its pick-up and play racing

RUSTY HEARTS (ACTION HACK N SLASH)
By : RIFQIRUSTY HEARTS
Rusty Hearts is a free-to-play hack n slash/MMO/co-op brawler developed by Stairway Games and published by Windysoft in Korea, Perfect World Entertainment in North America, Sega in Japan and Xunlei Games in China. There are 4 default characters to take on countless waves of undead, monsters, dark
knights, and many other creatures of the night. The story revolves
around 4 characters that are tasked to take on and destroy an evil,
powerful vampire lord named Vlad. He has been sealed up in a castle.
Yes, it does sound a lot like Castlevania, and you’ll get more vibes
like this later on in the review.
There are four basic playable characters with their respective avatars,
which retains the same combat style but of different gender.
- Frantz Kruger, a vampire specializing in swords and battleaxes.
- Angela Strraugend, a witch specializing in magical swords and scythes.
- Tude MacLoud, a werewolf specializing in gauntlets and claw weapons.
- Natasha Borzenkova, a gunslinger specializing in revolvers and muskets.
- And Meilin, Roselle, Edgar, Leila who almost have same style.
Let’s not forget the PVP aspect to the game. That’s right, you can even
play against other players in Rusty Hearts. There are a good number of
modes to play including single player and co-op with your buddies
against another team.
1. Deathmatch
The most straightforward mode pits teams against each other in a
no-holds-barred brawl. Points are tallied as each member of a team is
defeated, but no one stays down for long and it's anyone's game until
the timer hits zero.
2. Tag Team
Solo combat with a team-based twist, Tag Team mode pits your team
against the opponent in a series of short, one on one matches. Defeat
the entire team's roster to achieve victory but be careful, the order of
opponents is random. Will you be the point man, hoping to get an early
lead over your opponents, or the anchor, carrying the entire team's
fate on your shoulders?
3. Survival
A great man once said, "War does not decide who is right, but who
is left". Survival is the only thing that matters at the end of the
day. This mode reflects the brutality of the world itself. Either in a
team or by yourself, survive by any means necessary and be crowned the
victor of this savage match.
There are a ton of players out there to party up with and play against.
The mixture of fast action game play and the customization aspects of an
RPG make this game enjoyable for almost any genre of game player. You
really have nothing to lose with this free-to-play game. I suggest it to
everyone.
