GUNZ2

The official sequel to GunZ: The Duel features all the unique action and gameplay from the original title, but adds even more tactical variety and improved technology to the mix. In this game, you will become a living weapon!

This free-to-play online game will broaden your understanding of what a first-person shooter is truly capable of. GunZ 2: The Second Duel is the official sequel to GunZ: The Duel which was first released in 2004. The action FPS picks up where the original title left off. It features all the original and unique qualities of the GunZ-franchise and successfully modernises them with more up-to-date technology and gameplay. The MMOFPS provides real-time physics effects, better responses, and a much greater variety of action moves and available weapons, each unique in their own respect.

In GunZ 2: The Second Duel, you will experience a first-person shooter unlike any you have ever played before. This online game does not only rely on your shooting skills to defeat enemies, but also on your abilities to successfully move through your environment. A wall is not just a place to hide behind in order to demonstrate your sniping skills, but it is rather an opportunity for you to surprise your opponents. With your character’s numerous action moves, you can climb up walls to attack your enemies from above. These moves guarantee for a much more dynamic gameplay experience.

Cooperative Scenario-Mode

The online multiplayer game is a direct sequel to GunZ: The Duel—a game I feel old talking about having played through it nearly a decade ago—and has players running around large set-piece battle arenas trying to slice and dice other players into itty bitty pieces. Or, if they refuse to stand still, shooting them into itty bitty pieces. It’s our in the U.S. on Steam Early Access after mucking around in South Korea for the last few years in beta.

GunZ 2 Coming to Steam on February 17

There are three classes available at launch: the Silent Avenger, Gun Slinger and Shield Trooper, with more to be added as developers add on to the game, alongside some 200 different weapons of both the gun and sword variety split into 13 categories. That’s… quite impressive actually. There’s even a campaign mode against AI Bots
